What Information is in the Directories ?

PetroChem Data Services publishes a series of bound directories called “The Big Book of Plants”.  Each directory is an in-depth survey of the PetroChemical industry in a particular state. 

What Industries are Included ?

The term “Petrochemical”, as used most places, includes a range of industries.  We define the term to include but is not limited to: Refining, Gas Processing, Chemicals, Industrial Gases, Natural Gas Liquids, Storage Facilities, Terminals, Steel Mills, Pulp & Paper and Electric Utility Power Plants.

What Plant Data is listed & How Recent is the Information ?

16 separate directories are available, covering 14 states.  The directories are priced and purchased individually.   Annually, each plant is contacted directly, to confirm the following plant data:  Plant Name, Location, Mailing Address, Phone, Plant Contacts and Products/Services.  Plant data is listed alphabetically by plant name and is located on a detailed road map provided in a separate section of the directory.  A third section lists Electric Utility Power Plant data for that state.  All plant data was completely up-dated Jan. 2008.
